Next week (april 29 – may 5), Kulturhuset Kåken is screening Fiktion’s video for 9-9-0-6-9-4-7-X-B-7-1, from last year’s most curious and demonic album, Burn That Gloom. As far as we know, the video will be continuously displayed during this time period, so drop by and watch it!
For those of you who can’t make it to Gothenburg to see it on a big screen, there’s always YouTube.
Instead of doing the gig at the pub the dub-trio went a little mad and took the first bus to Istanbul instead. But when they arrived everything was purpur, some weird carnival was going on and it felt like time had been turned back 50 years. Here’s Fiktion’s second video from Burn that Gloom:
[SEK]‘s second EP is here! It’s called [FALL], and it contains four thoughtful and emotional pop songs with digital beats, woozing synths and a slight balearic touch. And, of course, Sophia’s unique voice and inspired melodies. Listen now!
We are proud to announce Bergen, [SEK]‘s first EP, a joint release with Sound of Wool. [SEK] is SHEASHEASHEA‘s Swedish-speaking alter ego, creating entrancing pop tunes that celebrate the difficulties of living and loving – the kind of things you don’t have to know Swedish to understand.
With its thunderous drums, gentle strings and soaring melodies, Bergen’s sound is reminiscent of Robyn and Jónsi, but the expression is patently [SEK]. This is what being painfully honest sounds like. Listen for yourself!
We are very proud to announce Varg’s self-titled debut EP! It is out today on Soundcloud, Spotify, Itunes and various other services.
Varg EP is a collection of songs with sparse yet powerful and engaging arrangements of guitars, cellos, synths, rhythms and vocals. You need to hear it! Read more and listen here!
We are proud to announce that Varg has joined our ranks! With guitar, cello, synths and rhythms, Varg makes music that is both mysterious and familiar, both introspective and exciting.
Henrik José has finished a new song! It’s a suggestive piece with a gorgeously cavernous beat, mantra-like lyrics and shimmering synth blips. Listen here:
Here’s another video that we meant to share with you all before summer broke loose. It’s Henrik Josés “Make amends”. And yes, we will make amends for our late updates.
